GOJU-SHOREI STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
| On May 31, 2001 Sensei Mikel
Peterson tested for his Shodan in Aikijujitsu. Sensei Peterson, a 3rd Dan
in Aikido, has been studying both Aikijujitsu and Goju-Shorei Weapons
System under Shihan Ed Loomis for several years now. On hand for Sensei
Peterson's test was Soke Amos Hunter head of the American Society of
Combat Martial Artists. |

On March 10, 2001 the American
Society of Combat Martial Artists held its annual seminar in Abilene, Texas.
With over 50 people in attendance, Mikel Peterson (right) received his 3rd Dan
ranking in Aikido. Presenting Sensei Petersons promotion certificate was Soke
Amos Hunter (left in black gi) head of the American Society of Combat Martial
Artists. Sensei Peterson has been studying under Soke Hunter for nearly 10
years.
Sensei Peterson has studied various
martial arts including Wing Chung Kung Fu, Aiki Jujitsu and the Goju-Shorei
Weapons System. Sensei Mikel Peterson is one of only a handful Goju-Shorei
Weapons Instructors in the State of Texas.
